We have a stream of animals that visit Coga Cottage on a regular basis.

Some of our favorites

Bush babies

The locals – We have built a bush baby home in the garden where our local family has moved in.
They are active at night often visiting the feeding table. They love fruit yoghurt and pieces of sliced banana.

Mongoose

We have a family of mongoose that visit regularly. The chirp and grunt to each other as they move through the bush, so you hear them long before you see them.
The love raw eggs and mice meat.

Feeding the animals

You can buy animal feed at the local shops. It’s awesome to be able to feed these wild animals by hand.

Genet

If you are lucky you may get to see our local genet. Ho only visits at night, and loves to be spoiled with a bit of yoghurt, raw egg or minced meat.
